How to use these downloads

Quick guidance to help you customize and share templates confidently.

Are these official Scouting America forms?

Some items are original Peninsula Scouts templates; others are links to commonly used resources. When a form must be official, we’ll note it and point you to the source.

Can I edit and rebrand templates for my unit?

Yes—most templates are designed to be copied and adapted. Keep youth protection and policy language intact where applicable.

What file formats are included?

Templates are typically provided as Google Docs/Sheets or printable PDFs, depending on the use case.

How do I share with families?

Use a single link in email/text, or print the PDF versions for in-person events. Keep one “current” folder so leaders aren’t using outdated copies.

I can’t find what I need—can you help?

Absolutely. Tell us your unit type and goal (recruiting, onboarding, retention, or planning) and we’ll point you to the best fit.

How often are templates updated?

We refresh items as programs and best practices change. If you spot something outdated, send us a note so we can improve it.
